Thanks to everyone who had readings in September- 15% of those proceeds were donated to the American Red Cross for Hurrican Katrina relief. Hopefully we made a difference in some small way.

A reminder on dates quoted in StarGazer- dates are quoted for the US. If you are in a part of the world in a far different time zone, calculate your dates accordingly earlier or later as appropriate.

The Saturn-Chiron Heartbreak Transit is long over now as an active transit, but Saturn and Chiron continue their dance in the helio sky, with Chiron now applying to Saturn. This is still of some concern in terms of natalization (though much less than before) until 12/8/05, when they finally exceed a 3° orb.

Nasty Saturn-Mars aspects are in the sky 10/7 – 11/6, and 11/10 – 11/18. People may be much more harsh than usual during these times. Don’t take this personally, but do maintain healthy boundaries. Go easy with others yourself.

    What is Magi Astrology? How is it different than regular astrology?

    Magi Days- Fourth Quarter 2005

    Using the principles of four-dimensional Magi Astrology, these are noteworthy days- either positive or negative. Be aware that these are general predictions, and may be improved by, or negated by, your personal transits.

    Oct. 1-3 are sexy days, with bi-level and transdimensional Mars-Pluto aspects, and Venus involved too in the geo longitudes. However, a tight Saturn-Sun sextile makes these poor days to meet a new partner. Thwarted lovers might express anger.

    Oct. 5 is a day to avoid falling into pointless arguments, you may not have all the facts.

    Oct. 14-15 are days that look conducive to amity and friendship, but true feelings may be another matter, or may be difficult to express. These are not the best days for important communications.

    Oct. 17- 18 are days to be very careful and cautious in all ways, with Mars at the Saturn-Chiron midpoint in helio.

    Oct. 19 is probably the best day this month for new beginnings, both personal and professional, if your personal transits agree. Oct. 20 and 21 are also fairly good.

    Oct. 25 – Nov. 5 are days to lie low and not start anything new, due to Saturn square either Sun or Earth. Oct. 27 and Nov. 2 are the preferred days during this time, if you absolutely must do something important now.

    Nov. 5 – Nov. 12 are days when you should tread very lightly- squares between Mars, Neptune, and Sun and/or Earth make these days when lasting enmities can be created. This is absolutely not a time to try to resolve anything.

    Nov. 6 and 7 are some of the better days to begin a business venture, though the above caveat about treading lightly is important to consider.

    Nov. 12- 23 beware of getting obsessed with a new idea- which could have you chasing a will-of- the- wisp- or an old grievance. Make sure your thoughts are carrying you in constructive directions.

    Nov. 24 Thanksgiving should have amicable and family-oriented energies this year, with avenues of communication open.

    Nov. 26 – Dec. 4 are days when restless urges should be ignored- they won’t lead you toward anything good.

    Nov. 28 is a day on which you may need to work hard to avoid disputes.

    Dec. 25 Christmas Day and the first night of Hanukkah should be a pleasant holiday.

    Dec. 29 – Jan.2 (including New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day) are Saturn quincunx Sun days- avoid a negative or pessimistic attitude, and don’t start any new endeavors. For more information about Magi Astrology, check out the Magi website: click here


    Predictions for each Zodiac Sign for Oct. - Dec. 2005

    Quarterly predictions for each Zodiac Sign for Oct. - Dec. 2005: Birthdate ranges shown may vary by a day or so either way. Be aware that these are general predictions, and that a detailed analysis of your personal transits and progressions will always show much more pinpoint accuracy. As in all predictive columns, this is written based on the Solar House system. If you know your Ascendant (Rising Sign) read that section as well as your birth sign. I attempt to write these predictions for all degrees of each sign, however, your own Sun and Ascendant may be anything from 0°-30° of a sign. If these predictions seem way off, your Sun or Ascendant may be at the extreme beginning or end of your sign. In that case, check out the predictions for the sign immediately before or after yours and you may find a closer match. (If you are a Pisces, check out Aquarius and Aries, for example.)

    Aries- Mar 21- Apr 20: A basic feeling of friendship and peace moves through the domestic environment, but avoid a tendency to be too combative in general, at home or away. It’s a good time to do that financial planning you may have put off. Work to keep communications very clear and truthful. Career will feel very creative and be more enjoyable than usual by year-end. Long-term relationships continue to blossom.

    Taurus- Apr 21- May 21: Over- assertiveness is still something to beware of. Plans may be made as a long-term relationship becomes serious. Student bulls might find their thinking less clear than usual, or may notice a decline in study discipline and habits. Extra effort in communication- both in quantity and in warmth- can overcome the constrained atmosphere. Sexual expression may be high priority. Sudden changes, or an overall feeling of uncertainty may interfere with your sense of career security.

    Gemini- May 22- Jun 21: Money matters continue to be less than satisfying, and financial agreements with others can be especially problematic. Both dating and committed Twins enjoy romance- singles meet high-quality people, and long- term relationships can be particularly spicy. Friendships, though, may be unusually disputatious. It’s a good time to focus on accomplishing the daily stuff with style and a sense of pride, perhaps reorganizing things you have neglected.

    Cancer- Jun 22- Jul 23: Avoid playing the role of “critical parent” with others, especially your mate. Don’t be too critical or judgmental of yourself, either. Expect the daily grind to be more fun than usual- even though, or because of- continuing transformations. Career frustrations could build up- be careful to express your feelings in acceptable ways. Income from partners and others could still be fluctuating or changing in some way.

    Leo- Jul 24- Aug 23: A playful spirit could make it difficult to concentrate on the tasks at hand, though a point will come when you’re not only ready, but eager, to buckle down. Avoid any tangles with authority. Committed Leos may find their relationships a bit unsettled, but ultimately moving toward a fresh attitude. You are especially able to transmit your warmth and caring now. Home is where the heart is during the holiday season.

    Virgo- Aug 24- Sep 23: Avoid fantasies or wishful thinking in your career- stick to rigorous honesty with yourself and others. Finances should be steadily building and solidifying. The energies for change continue, inviting you to make your life a more perfect representation of your inner self. Friendships can be baffling, one minute rewarding, and the next minute a disappointment. Things should get a little lighter and more fun by the quarter’s end.

    Libra- Sep 24- Oct 23: Whatever tensions may be present in long-term relationships should subside by year-end. Librans playing the field will find many surprises. Career may be something of a burden, but ultimately, you are moving toward a culmination. Passions should be easy to communicate, especially early in the quarter. Home beautification may be especially important to you this holiday season.

    Scorpio- Oct 24- Nov 22: You are more comfortable than usual with being visible and “out there” now. Financial matters should be fairly pleasing. You may be uncharacteristically impatient with daily responsibilities- avoid a snippy attitude. Your spirituality is in a phase of growth, and you derive a great deal of comfort from it. If holiday pressures mount, be sure not to take frustrations out on your partner.

    Sagittarius- Nov 23- Dec 22: Your charm and lively intelligence is very much on display this quarter. Also, however, your forcefulness is out in front- be careful that you don’t steamroll over anyone, no matter how sweetly. It’s a sexy time for Sags, whether single or committed. If in a serious relationship, it is important to keep your feet on the ground and your vision clear. Partner’s finances will improve in the next months. Friendships and philanthropy are both rewarding now.

    Capricorn- Dec 23- Jan 20: Your home life should settle down by the end of the year, and single Caps will then enter a period of active dating, and/or possibly some spats with dates. Married Caps will find their friendship with their partner strengthened, and the relationship as a whole should begin to feel lighter. Your career should still be pleasantly growing, despite a short-term difficulty in disciplining yourself to get all the busy work done.

    Aquarius- Jan 21- Feb 19: You are shining in and focused upon your career this quarter. The daily grind is still grinding, but should be less onerous soon. Dating Aquarians should remember that ‘all that glitters is not gold,’ but with that in mind, should have lots of fun. You are enjoying broadening your horizons and gaining new perspectives. Your spirituality should be deep and beautiful.

    Pisces- Feb 20- Mar 20: Watch out for overwhelming others in your career, if you are sensitive about this, your popularity will increase. You have tons of energy for earning money now. Single Pisceans may find a dating drought ending soon. Tell the truth at home, and insist on the same. Travel is a desire now- try to get away if you can.
