Your marriage chart can make or
break your career. In fact, one of the best ways a person can improve their
chance for super-success is to marry on an outstanding day.
Your personal potential for success can be measured by the number of "Super
Aspects" in your birth chart. The linkages and clashes from your natal chart
to your wedding chart can immensely improve, or detract horribly from, your
personal success potential. When the marriage is ended, whatever
improvements and whatever impediments you receive from your wedding chart
are completely dissolved.
Below are some examples of celebrities whose marriages or divorces
strengthened or devastated their careers:
Andre Agassi:
Tennis great Agassi was
the #1 player in the world when he won Olympic gold in 1996. He married
Brooke Shields in the spring of 1997, and by November of 1997, had crashed to a career low
ranking of #141. Agassi began a comeback in 1998, and divorced Shields in
April of 1999. By June of 1999, Agassi won the French Open, and by the end
of 1999 was again ranked the #1 player in the world. (Agassi had 2 horrible
clashes to his wedding chart, including a heartbreak clash.)
Kevin Costner:
Costner married Cindy Silva in 1978. His career
gradually took off, culminating in the 1990 film, "Dances with Wolves-"
which he produced, directed, and starred in- winning 7 Academy Awards
and grossing $424 million worldwide. Costner and Silva divorced in 1994.
Costner's 1995 epic "Waterworld" is considered to be one of the all-time
biggest box-office bombs, costing $175 million to make, and making only a
small worldwide gross profit. Costner's later attempts to revive his career
have thus far not brought him anywhere near his earlier success. (Costner
has 9 "Super Aspects" natally, and his linkages with his marriage chart to
Silva brought him 10 more.)
Farrah Fawcett:
Starlet Fawcett married
"Bionic Man" Lee Majors in July of 1973. Her famous 1976 swimsuit poster
sold 8 million copies- making Fawcett's look and hairstyle universally
imitated, and leading to her being cast in the original "Charlie's Angels"
TV series, in which she appeared from 1976- 1980. Fawcett divorced Majors in
1982, and has never again reached her earlier success and fame. (Fawcett has
3 "Super Aspects" in her natal chart, and got 7 more in linkages to her
wedding chart)
Nicole Kidman:
An immensely talented
actress, Kidman only really achieved fame after her December, 1990 marriage to Tom Cruise, but
still,
true critical success eluded her. After their August 2001 divorce, Kidman received
an Oscar nomination for 2002's "Moulin Rouge," and won the Best Actress
Oscar for 2003's "The Hours." (Kidman has 5 "Super Aspects: natally, and got
7 more in linkages to her wedding chart, but had 4 horrible career-killing clashes to it as
well.)
Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew
Broderick:
Parker was a successful actress prior to her May, 1997
marriage to Broderick, but it was her starring role in the television series, "Sex
in the City" from 1998-2004 which brought her 2 Emmy Awards, 4 Golden Globes,
wealth and worldwide fame. Broderick, also previously successful, also achieved
his greatest success to date since the marriage: a co-starring role in the
2001 Broadway smash, "The Producers." (Parker has 3 "Super Aspects" natally,
and has 8 more through her linkages to their wedding chart. Broderick has 5
"Super Aspects" natally, and received 8 more in linkages to their wedding
chart.)
Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey:
Simpson and Lachey married in Oct. of 2002. Their 2003-2005 television show,
"Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica," catapulted aspiring pop singer Simpson to
super-stardom. On the other hand, Lachey, already famous as a member of the
band "98 degrees," gradually faded into the wallpaper. The couple announced
their separation in Nov. of 2005, and it remains to be seen what effect this
will have on their respective careers. (Simpson has 8 "Super Aspects" natally,
and got 8 more from their wedding chart. Lachey had 4 serious clashes with
their wedding chart, including 2 heartbreak clashes.)
Sylvester Stallone:
Stallone married
Sasha Czack in December of 1974. His movie "Rocky" in 1976, which he wrote
and starred in, grossed $225 million worldwide and won 3 Academy Awards. The
movies he produced, directed and/or acted in during the marriage- including
3 "Rocky" sequels and 2 of his "Rambo" movies- grossed well over a billion
dollars. Stallone and Czack divorced in 1985. Stallone's subsequent efforts,
while somewhat successful, have never come remotely close to this. (Stallone has 7 "Super Aspects" in his natal chart, and added
15 more
through linkages to their marriage chart.)
John Travolta:
Travolta was a hit in
the TV series, "Welcome Back, Kotter" from 1975-1979, and in the movies,
"Saturday Night Fever" in 1977 and 1983's "Staying Alive." Then his career
languished for years until he married Kelly Preston in Sept. of 1991. His
role in 1994's "Pulp Fiction" won Travolta a Oscar nomination and a Golden
Globe for Best Actor, and was widely credited with the resuscitation of his
career. (Travolta has 6 "Super Aspects" natally, and picked up 11 more in
his linkages to the wedding date)
Shania Twain:
Country singer Twain
worked doggedly for success most of her life. A talented
singer, her 1993 debut album had disappointingly few sales. Then, Twain
married record producer Robert "Mutt" Lange in Dec. in 1993. Her 1995
Grammy-winning album, "The Woman in Me," sold 10 million copies and made her
a huge crossover hit on the pop charts as well. (Twain's birth chart has 3 "Super Aspects." She gained
7 more from her marriage to Lange.)
Reese Witherspoon:
Witherspoon married
actor Ryan Phillipe in June of 1999. Her breakout hit, "Legally Blonde" in
2001 brought her roles in a "Legally Blonde" sequel in 2003 and
a variety of other films. She won the
Oscar for Best Actress for her performance in 2005's "Walk the Line,"
and has become the third highest-paid actress in Hollywood. The couple
divorced in 2007 and time will tell what effect this has on the talented Ms.
Witherspoon's career. (Witherspoon has 8
"Super Aspects" in her natal chart, and her marriage chart brings her 6
more.) It has been
said, perhaps only partly tongue-in-cheek, that the day you marry can be even more
important than the person you marry. : ) In any given year, there are
perhaps only a dozen or or so days outstanding enough to be considered for
wedding dates according to the Magi Society's research-proven principles-
and only some of these would be appropriate for any particular couple. A majority
of days in any year are disastrous for marriage- which in our opinion helps
to explain the astronomical divorce rate. |
