the tell-tale signs of a wanderer (the uranus pluto
or mars or venus aspects) in either chart; any
insights to this?" |

Tiger Woods & Elin Nordegren:
4 Heartbreak Clashes + 2 Nuclear Heartbreaks + 2 Nuclear Clashes & more spell disaster
My apologies if you are tired of hearing about Tiger Woods, but
there are extraordinary astrological lessons to be learned from an analysis of
Tiger's and Elin's charts. There were many warnings of trouble to be seen in
Tiger's natal chart, Tiger and Elin’s CAC, their wedding chart, each of
their natal/wedding CAC’s, and Tiger's transits.
Tiger's
Natal Chart:
First of all, I find two sexual aspects here,
including the "wanderer" aspect of Uranus trine Mars in helio. However, lots of men have
sexual aspects without cheating on their mates, and Tiger did a lot more than
just have one affair. Tiger has another sexual aspect which is much
more likely to create trouble- a degraded sexual aspect in geo- a Mars-Juno
square with the Saturn/Sedna midpoint conjunct Mars and square Juno. In Magi
Astrology, degraded aspects are aspects in which an important Saturn midpoint
forms an aspect to two other planets forming an aspect, and they have the
ability to be especially toxic and destabilizing. Saturn rules bad judgment and
deception among other things, and Sedna is the ruler of corruption, immorality,
and emotionless sex. This aspect clearly helps to explain Tiger's
seemingly-addictive sexual behavior.
Tiger and Elin's CAC:
There are Romantic Super-Linkages in this CAC which indicate true
love, but despite John Lennon's assertion, love is not all we need. Tiger
and Elin's
relationship is burdened with numerous significant clashes:

Tiger's geo Sat/Jup AND Sat/Chi midpoints are both quincunx Elin's Sun and
square her Jupiter- a Heartbreak Clash, a Nuclear Heartbreak and a 2 Nuclear Clashes- no wonder
a friend of Elin's said the marriage drove Elin crazy!
* Tiger's geo Saturn is square Elin's Vesta and quincunx her Mercury-
Vesta is a ruler of compatibility and Mercury rules communication- both are
damaged here.
* Elin's geo Sat/Chi midpoint is square Tiger's Jupiter- a Nuclear
Heartbreak clash.
* Elin's geo Saturn is opposite Tiger's Vesta- more undermining of
compatibility.
* Elin's geo Sat/Jup and Sat/Chi midpoints are contra-parallel Tiger's
Vesta- it would seem that any attempts to get along just make things worse
for this couple.
* Elin's helio Saturn is quincunx Tiger's Vesta and opposite his Mercury-
even more powerful incompatibility and inability to communicate.
* Elin's helio Sat/Jup midpoint is square Tiger's Neptune- a
crazy-making joy-wrecker aspect and shatterer of dreams.
Tiger &
Elin's Wedding Chart:
Tiger and Elin married on a trans-dimensional
Heartbreak day, with the Sat/Chi hearbreak midpoint square Chiron in both geo
and helio. As a trans-dimensional aspect the Heartbreak is approximately
quadrupled in power.
Tiger's
Wedding CAC:
In the CAC of Tiger's natal chart with his wedding
chart, there are two Heartbreak clashes- Saturn
square Chiron in geo, and Saturn contra-latitude Chiron in helio. The effect of
these two clashes is more than doubled in power due to the repeated planets.
Though Tiger is the person whose acting-out seems most destructive, he is
still no doubt experiencing personal, professional, and financial heartbreak.
Elin's
Wedding CAC:
In this CAC, there are two Saturn-Neptune clashes:
Saturn contra-parallel Neptune in geo, and Saturn quincunx Neptune in helio,
which are again more than doubled in power, making her marriage joyless,
cynicism-producing, and a
heavy burden.
Tiger's Crash
Transits:
The day of the car crash, 11/27/2009,
is also the day that the public exposure
of Tiger's transgressions began. On this day, the transiting
Sat/Chi Heartbreak midpoint and transiting Sat/Jup Nuclear midpoint were
themselves conjunct and both in an applying conjunction to Tiger's Neptune in
geo. The Sat/Chi to Neptune transit was also applying in helio, making it
trans-dimensional and approximately quadrupling its power. These transits can
ruthlessly crush dreams, impact health, and disrupt many sources of income.
With Magi Astrology, all of these problems could have been foreseen. Tiger and
Elin could have been counseled that a marriage between them was unlikely to be
happy. If they
chose to marry anyway, a favorable wedding day could have helped their
relationship be the best it could be rather than dealt it what appears to have
been an astrological killing blow. Then, Tiger could have been counseled to be
extra-careful rather than careless during these difficult transits.
It is a very real tragedy that all this could have been prevented..... It's a
tragedy that Tiger's shadow side has wreaked such destruction on his marriage and his career,
a tragedy that Elin's marriage has brought her such heartbreak, and a tragedy
that their young children must be surrounded with such profound discord and
notoriety.
I encourage everyone to find compassion for Tiger rather than judgment. Few of
us can imagine the pressures that celebrities and their families face. Few of us
realize the subconscious pain that causes AND results from such over-the-top
acting-out. It's so quick and easy for the rich and famous to indulge in
temptation rather than pursue the time- and energy-intensive path of facing
personal problems and healing them. Hopefully, the result of all this will be
that Tiger can get the help that he needs to learn to live in a more functional
way, and Tiger, Elin and their children are able to rebuild their lives and find
happiness and peace in the future.

Remember
that the individual effects of any pattern
will be improved by, or worsened by, your personal
transits. The last 2-3 days listed in each date
range (the peak of the cycle) will be the dates when
the pattern is strongest. In the case of difficult
cycles, actions which are unavoidable should be
taken as early in the cycle as possible, as the
cycle's negative effects are most detrimental at the
cycle's peak. With positive cycles, actions should
be taken as close to the peak as possible to
maximize the cycle's positive influence.
The single simplest
and most powerful way anyone can use astrology is
to avoid universally bad days for new initiatives.
It's not fun to dwell on difficult cycles, but
forewarned is forearmed- this can give you a huge
advantage long-term.
Main cycles for the First Quarter:
Sedna
cycles over in longitudes, continue a bit in
declinations
As I've mentioned in the last few issues of
StarGazer,
Magi
Society research has concluded that the
trans-dimensional squares from the planet Sedna to
Neptune since 2004 and Chiron since 2008 set the
stage for and pulled the trigger on the worldwide
financial meltdown. These squares are over(!) but a
Sedna/Chiron contraparallel (as we saw in May and
July of 2009) will peak this March 17. We'll have
one more peak in the 4th quarter of 2010, and a last
peak in the first quarter of 2011. As stated above,
these peaks may indicate dips in the overall pattern
of gradual economic recovery, though without the
concurrent longitudinal squares, they should not be
as damaging.
General advice is to avoid new meetings and new
initiatives at least 3 days before and after the peak days of
the stressful
cycle mentioned above.

Aries- Mar 21- Apr 19:
An emphasis on friendship and service to others
continues into the first quarter. Mundane tasks may
still be frustrating, and household fix-it projects
could create more problems than they solve. Try not to
nit-pick or squabble with family members. This may be a
time when you are inclined toward more conformity than
usual, but this won't last forever. You are
exceptionally charming and magnetic now, but try to be
as clear and upfront as possible as others could suspect
you of a hidden agenda.
Taurus- Apr 20- May 20:
You can make great career strides at this time. Maximize
this opportunity by working hard to achieve your dreams
and consolidate gains. This could be a great time too to
start a new job or ask for a raise. In fact, in the
outer world it could be difficult to put one foot wrong-
the only caveat would be to be sure to think before you
speak and avoid cutting remarks. All this striving may
make it difficult to relax and play, but the rewards
should make any sacrifices worthwhile.
Gemini- May 21- Jun 21:
These are marvelous times for learning new things and
opening your mind to new perceptions. Domestic
partnerships are under some stress now, and you may feel
both the need for change and completely stymied in your
attempts to make needed changes, especially around the
house. You are likely putting plenty of energy into
producing income, but you may only see sporadic rewards.
New friends may not be what they appear to be, so some
caution is advisable.
Cancer- Jun 22- Jul 22:
Business or financial partnerships could be especially
favored now, and your significant other could see an
income spike. Take care not to be too pessimistic in
giving advice to avoid raining on anyone's parade. Your
high energy could be exhilarating, but avoid coming
across as too impetuous or contentious. Your career may
seem unclear or confusing in some way- be patient and
clarity will come in time. New horizons await in some
way.
Leo- Jul 23- Aug 22:
Many of the same themes for you continue from last
quarter. This is not a time when working in tandem
financially is advisable, and patience may be called for
if income is limited in some way. Strive for healthy
outlets for any resentments you may be holding inside.
Committed relationships should continue to thrive and
provide much joy. On the home front, you may be in the
planning stages for something important.
Virgo- Aug 23- Sep 22:
Don't be afraid to give your all even to small efforts
now.
You have a way of making even routine tasks a joy and
this sets a wonderful example for others. Shifts on the domestic scene appear to continue for the
present- these could be many and small, or few and
fairly significant. Relationships may also continue to
be less predictable, which can be a breath of fresh air
if you have the right attitude. Avoid petty squabbles
with friends.
Libra- Sep 23- Oct 22:
Enjoy yourself now. This is a splendid time to laugh,
play, create, and have fun. There's no need for guilt-
it's your turn to partake of the lighter side of life.
Do make sure to get the important stuff done though,
your self-discipline is weaker than usual and you have
little patience for dreary routine. Use your copious
career energy to break new ground but set a cooperative
rather than a challenging tone to sidestep distracting
and useless struggles.
Scorpio- Oct 23- Nov 21:
Now is not the time to fight city hall, so go along
and get along. Pleasant times should continue on the
domestic scene, and a beautification project of some
kind could be in the works. Be honest with yourself
about daily tasks. Continue to build bridges and make
connections in your career. Relationships with children
could be surprising in some way. Impress others with
your logic and ability to organize.
Sagittarius- Nov 23- Dec 21:
Communications of all kinds can be very successful as
you continue to have a silver tongue and fingertips- it
could also be a great time to sell your ideas. In your
career, this could feel like a time for paying dues
without immediate reward, but don't give up. Personally,
not everyone may want to follow your evolutionary lead,
so be prepared to live and let live. Make new friends
while traveling or attending classes. Be cheerful and
cooperative in money matters.
Capricorn- Dec 22- Jan 20:
Some lack of clarity on the home front could baffle you
for a while. Long-term relationships could be in a cycle
of uncooperativeness- do your best to get along- this
too shall pass. Finances are strongly favored now and
this could also be a good time to team up with someone
else in investments.
Avoid confrontations with authority by following the
rules enough not to be singled out. Relationships with
siblings or neighbors could be full of surprises.
Aquarius- Jan 21- Feb 18:
Your popularity continues to soar, but ongoing
friendships may be evolving or changing in some way.
Economic risk of any kind is still to be avoided, along
with financial partnerships if possible. Don't rule out
an unexpected windfall, though. This could be an
excellent time for career strategizing. You have little
patience for serving others now so it's better not to
volunteer. Keep all communications crystal clear.
Friendship within a love relationship is favored.
Pisces- Feb 19- Mar 20:
Your personal growth and spiritual development is likely
to be on the fast track now. Journaling could be a way
to remember all your insights and revelations.
Relationships could seem stuck or relatively
unsatisfying, but this is temporary and will pass- be
patient. Do not make any investments without doing
double due diligence. Your career continues to evolve-
let go of anything outmoded to make way for new doors to
open. Help a friend in need. |
