About
RSS Feeds
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) Feeds
are a convenient way to be automatically informed of a website's latest
changes, updates and new content. A
"headline" view lets you quickly scan recent postings.
Our RSS feed contains the most recent StarGazer
quarterly newsletter and all new site content in the What's New section.
How to use RSS
To be able to
receive automatic feeds, you will need an RSS reader or aggregator.
If you have Internet Explorer 7.x
in Windows XP or Vista you already have a built-in RSS
reader. Just click on the
icon on any page of this site, and then click on "Subscribe." If
you have a valid copy of Windows XP, but do not yet have Internet
Explorer 7, you should be able to download it here:
Get Internet Explorer 7
If you cannot
get Internet Explorer 7, you can find
various RSS readers available for download on the internet. One such is
the Tristana RSS Reader available for free download:
Get Tristana
After
installing your RSS reader, click on
the
icon on any page of this site. Copy the URL shown in the browser window and paste it into the "Subscribe"
or "Add" window in your reader. Don't worry if you first see a page
in xml code, your reader
should still display your feed correctly.
